Franken-Algorithms: Risks of Unpredictable Code (CEL Fusion Discussion)

The Center for Ethics and Leadership invites the St. Edward’s and Austin communities to gather over a complimentary lunch to discuss this thought-provoking topic of our modern times:

Artificial intelligence (AI) can drive car, fly a missile, and trade stocks—without any human at the wheel. Is this a good idea? What happens when someone loses her retirement in a stock trade, or dies when struck by a car, but there is no human trader and no human driver? What should our ethical codes be in a world run by computers and robots?
