Pitch your unique venture concept to a panel of Austin business leaders in one of two sessions! The top 15 pitches will move forward to the Business Plan Competition, held in the spring.

Register your idea by Saturday, November 10, to participate.
Rules and Regulations
- The competition is open only to SEU registered undergraduate and graduate students.
- Ideas will be judged on the basis of originality of the idea and ideal impact on the community for future feasibility study and development.
- The idea submitted must be that of the presenter and not already be in the public media.
- The idea submitted must be individually presented.
- Only one idea submission is permitted per student entry. A student is limited to two entries.
- A presenter is limited to two minutes (total time) for the oral presentation, not including any questions from the panel of judges.
- A presenter is not required to have a PowerPoint, handout or display.
- In addition to the top three ideas/ideals presented, depending on the number of qualifying entries presented, judges may establish other “Best in Category” awards.
- The decision of the judges to name award winners is final and is entirely within their discretion.
- Rules and regulations are subject to change.
Note: To participate in the Business Plan Competition, you must participate in the Ideas for Innovation Competition on Tuesday, November 13, AND be enrolled at St. Edward’s University / in Austin during the spring 2019 semester.
