Lecture: Channeling Our Outrage: What It Really Means to Respond to Hate with Love

Dr. Simran Jeet Singh with New York University's Center for Religion and Media will be this semester's feature speaker for the Nostra Aetate Lecture Series.  

Dr. Singh will look at our toxic culture of constant outrage which makes it impossible to sincerely care about the injustces around us. Can we channel our outrage into positive energy that is more sustainable and life-giving.  He will lean into recent research and personal experiences of growing up in Texas to explore what it really means to live a life of authentic love.

Simran Jeet Singh is a racial justice activist, a member of the Sikh community and an interfaith leader who has appeared or contributed to the Daily Show with Trevor Noah, the Daily Beast, and the Huffinton Post to name a few outlets.
