Will you be teaching a blended/hybrid course in Fall 2021? This session will review Models two (2) and three (3) for hybrid teaching that combine active and applied learning for the in person group of students with asynchronous learning (worksheets, online discussion, social annotation, recorded content) for those not in the classroom. In this session, we will review strategies you already know from teaching in-person and online, discuss how they might be combined in a hybrid course, and review special considerations for this hybrid model like dividing and managing your students in two groups, linking in-person and asynchronous activities, and building community.
