Careers in Environmental Science & Sustainability

Career and Professional Development will kick off the 2019-2020 Careers in Panel & Networking Night Series with a collaboration with Dr. Peter Beck and the EVSP department on Tuesday, October 1, 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. Mabee Ballrooms A & B. Student and alumni from all majors are welcome to participate.

Event Description:

Careers in Environmental Science & Sustainability will feature four to five professionals working for organizations that advocate, consult, improve, monitor, regulate, or research factors that impact the environment.


This event will begin with a 30 minute panel discussion providing a glimpse into the career fields represented by the panelists followed by one hour of networking in small groups.

Confirmed panelists (as of September 19) are:

  • Victoria Edwards '18, Environmental Specialist at SWCA Environmental Consultants
  • Annalise Reicher, Sustainability Program Specialist at Texas Parks and Wildlife Department
  • Beth Seaton, Director Remediation Division, Office of Waste at Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ)
