RAUL GARZA is a Latinx playwright who has drawn acclaim for telling stories that resound with authenticity and sense of place. He explores the intersection of popular culture and cultural identity, and incorporates music, spirituality, and the power of nostalgia into works that span time and location. His play MyHEB garnered FronteraFest Best of Fest accolades. Garza’s full length plays include
Ruby, El, Confessions of a Mexpatriate, Pig. A Requiem for the '90s, The Last Mixtape, and There and Back, and his short stories have been published widely. He is creative director at TKO Advertising.
