Marisol (CEL and MMNT Fusion Discussion)

Marisol Perez commutes daily from her apartment in the Bronx to her successful copy editor job with a Manhattan publisher. But something is amiss: apples are extinct, milk tastes like salt, and the moon has been missing for nine months. In this new and darkening world, Marisol sets out to find a missing friend and discovers something greater: her strength and actions, when combined with others', can save the universe. Rivera’s apocalyptic urban fantasy is a cautionary tale, brimming with dark humor, bold vision and theatricality. Winner of the 1993 Obie Award.

Engage with your community and share your thoughts on this compelling play. The more diverse the group, the better the discussion. (P.S. Lunch is on us with a RSVP!)

Attendees will also have the chance to win two free tickets to the play!
