Join the St. Edward's University Physics Club and Residence Life for a spectacular viewing party of the total solar eclipse happening on April 8th! Witness this once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon as the moon completely covers the sun, creating an otherworldly spectacle.

Here's what you can expect:

  • Prime Viewing: We'll be gathering in an open area on campus with a clear view of the eclipse.
  • Safe Viewing: The Physics Club will provide special eclipse glasses for everyone to safely observe the eclipse. They'll also have telescopes set up for magnified views.
  • Food & Fun: Enjoy complimentary refreshments and snacks while mingling with friends and fellow eclipse enthusiasts.
  • Texas Eclipse History: Did you know? The last time Texas experienced a total solar eclipse was way back in 1878!
